Privacy policy
Effective Oct 22, 2026. Operator: Luna Directories, publisher of IVF Clinic Rates.
IVF Clinic Rates is a static directory published by Luna Directories. It has no accounts, no login and no database of visitors. This page lists everything that can collect data when you use it, who receives it, how long it is kept and how to opt out.
Who is responsible
The data controller for this site is Luna Directories (for EU/UK GDPR purposes, the "controller"). Privacy requests go to [email protected]. We aim to answer within 30 days.
What we collect directly
Nothing, unless you send it. Browsing the directory sends no form data to us. Pages are static HTML served from a content delivery network (Cloudflare), which keeps standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp) for a short period for security and capacity planning under Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Analytics (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages, searches and tools are used.
GA4 sets first-party cookies (_ga, _ga_*, up to 2 years) and collects a pseudonymous client ID, pages viewed, approximate
location derived from a truncated IP address, device and browser type, and referrer. IP addresses are not stored. We do not pass form content or
personal identifiers to Analytics, and we do not use Google Signals or advertising features in Analytics. Google processes this data under the Google Privacy Policy. Opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, by blocking scripts, or by declining
analytics in the consent banner where one is shown. Retention of user-level analytics data is set to the shortest available period (2 months).
Advertising: non-personalized only
No ad network is active today. When one goes live it will be configured as described here, and this section will already apply.
Because a visit to a fertility clinic page can reveal health information, this site does not use interest-based (personalized) advertising, remarketing or audience segments. When an ad network is active, every ad request is non-personalized: Google AdSense and Ad Manager are set to serve non-personalized ads only, and Mediavine (Journey / Grow) runs with restricted data processing. Ads are chosen from the content of the page, not from your browsing history or a profile.
Sensitive and health-related ad categories are blocked in the ad networks' controls, including dating, weight loss, fertility supplements and other health products, pharmaceuticals, and get-rich-quick offers. Ads are kept away from the success-rate tables so they cannot be read as part of the data or as an endorsement of a clinic.
Non-personalized ads can still use cookies or device identifiers for frequency capping, fraud and spam prevention and aggregated ad measurement. You can block them in your browser or use the industry opt-out tools below.
- Google: how Google uses cookies in advertising, including for non-personalized ads.
- Mediavine: Mediavine privacy policy.
- Industry opt-outs: aboutads.info, networkadvertising.org and, in Europe, youronlinechoices.com.
We do not supply partners with anything you type into a form. Advertisers have no influence over which clinics are listed or how their figures are shown.
Consumer health data (Washington, Nevada, Connecticut)
Washington's My Health My Data Act, Nevada's consumer health data law (SB 370) and Connecticut's consumer health data provisions treat information that identifies a person's health condition, or their efforts to seek health care, as consumer health data. A record that you viewed a page about an IVF clinic could be such data.
We do not ask for, collect or keep consumer health data. The site has no accounts, and nothing you do on a clinic page or in the lookup tool is stored by us. The lookup tool runs in your browser; the clinic and age band you pick are not sent to us or to analytics. Analytics, when enabled, runs with Google Signals and ad personalization signals turned off, and page addresses are never combined with your name, email or any other identity.
We do not sell consumer health data, do not use it for targeted advertising, and do not share it with anyone for their own purposes. Ads on the site are non-personalized (see Advertising above).
Consent comes first. Before we add anything that would collect or share consumer health data (for example a form that asks about your treatment, or any personalized advertising), we will ask for your opt-in consent and update this policy; we will not collect or share it from Washington or Nevada residents without that consent. Nothing on the site does this today.
Residents of these states may ask us to confirm whether we hold any of their consumer health data, to see or delete it, and to withdraw consent, by emailing the address in the Contact section below. We will answer within 45 days.
Consent banner (EU, UK and Switzerland)
If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a consent management platform certified for the IAB TCF and Google's EU user consent policy asks for your choice before any advertising or analytics cookie is set. You can change or withdraw consent at any time from the "Privacy" or "Manage consent" link the banner leaves in the footer. Without consent, the directory still works; only non-essential cookies are withheld.
Your California privacy rights (CCPA / CPRA): Do Not Sell or Share
Under California law, allowing ad partners to use cookies for cross-context behavioural advertising may count as "sharing" personal information (identifiers, internet activity, coarse location). We do not sell personal information for money. To opt out of sharing:
- Use the consent or "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link shown by the ad partner's banner when ads are live.
- Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser; our ad partners honour it as an opt-out signal.
- Email [email protected] with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share".
California residents may also ask what categories of personal information we have collected, request deletion, and will not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Because we keep no visitor records ourselves, most requests are forwarded to the analytics or ad partner that holds the data.
Your rights under GDPR and UK GDPR
Our legal basis for analytics and advertising cookies is your consent (Article 6(1)(a)); for CDN security logs it is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)). You have the right to access, rectify, erase or port your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing. Data processed by Google and Mediavine may be transferred to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority (in the UK, the ICO).
Forms
Correction, claim and contact forms are hosted by Tally (Tally privacy policy). What you submit (your message, an optional email address and the page you were on) goes to Tally and then to us. We use it only to check and publish the correction and to reply if you asked for a reply. We do not sell, rent or share form submissions with advertisers. Email us to have a submission deleted.
